Project in Development
Cathay Bank
The project is Cathay Bank’s new headquarters building in South El Monte. Christine Lampert acted as the owner’s Representative and Project Manager, working with the Architect of Record, Gensler. The multi-story project includes the executive offices on the eighth floor and a large cafeteria for over 300 employees on the fifth floor. The parking lot on the south side of the building has solar panels mounted on the shade structures to provide a portion of the electricity for the building.

Jack’s Surf Shop Huntington Beach
The original single-story brick building that was Jack’s Surf Shop was destroyed in an earthquake. The new multi-story project for Jack’s Surf Shop includes the Surf Shop and other retail and office spaces. The approval process for this very controversial project took over a year, but in the end, the project won approval from the City Council. The project won a PCBC award for the best commercial building under 100,000 square feet.
